The Speak Now era (2010) is most known for the purple dress. Taylor teased it when she announced that Speak Now Taylor’s Version is coming on JULY 7th!!! Taylor wore a long, purple ballgown on the album cover, and then rocked a cute, shorter version on tour. That being said, you have a lot of choices for your Speak Now outfit, since this era includes 6 singles + music videos, award show outfits, and an iconic tour wardrobe. Speak Now is an album about those first grown up relationships, when you’re on the cusp of adulthood. It’s hopeful, nostalgic, and angry-and-ready-to-act. It’s a great choice for an Eras tour outfit. Now if only we could get Taylor’s Version. (Red Era Taylor’s Version is my favorite so far.)

On May 5th, Taylor announced that her version of Speak Now will be released on July 7th. She wore a tulle, off-the-shoulder top (or dress, it’s hard to tell tbh.)

Honestly, though, I think the shorter, purple dress she wore for the Speak Now tour is more accessible (and more comfortable!) to wear to the Eras tour and is just as iconic.

Speak Now was a country album, and Taylor wore a really cute country dress on tour for Our Song and Mean. If you are perhaps an older Swiftie or are looking for something a little more conservative to wear to an Eras show, this is a great look.
Because this dress is white and lace, there are a lot of great bridal-style dresses online to choose from, for all sizes and body types. Looking for “long sleeve lace dress” or “country dress” will help you narrow it down. Here is a really cute option from Shepler’s that would look great with Cowboy boots.
